Choosing the correct siding, fascia, or soffit, there are several topics to consider:
-
Water Resistance – A good, quality installation is critical in providing water-tight protection to your building. Aqua Shield Roofing & Construction only installs materials that are durable, long-lasting, and provide high water-resistance.
-
Energy Efficiency – When installing new siding, it is the right time to decide if additional insulation is desired. Choose an insulated siding or add it under the new materials for a better R-value rating for your home or business.
-
Appearance – The siding you choose will be seen by you, your family, and neighbors for years to come, so make sure it is beautiful to you. It will also greatly enhance the resale value of your property if installed properly, by a professional team.
-
Versatility – With several different siding options, ask your Aqua Shield Roofing & Construction sales professional to explain the product best suited to your needs and budget. Along with new siding, he can supply fascia, soffit, and metal wrap around doors that can make your business or home maintenance-free.
-
Durability – We only sell quality materials that have the design and workmanship to resist shifts in temperatures here on the High Plains. Of course some materials are more resistant to hail and high winds. Your Aqua Shield Roofing & Construction representative can provide answers to questions about how different materials withstand our diverse climate changes.
LP SmartSide® Lap Siding

LP SmartSide Lap Siding is an engineered wood siding that comes in 16 versatile prefinished colors – that means no painting! This ultra-durable siding is the perfect choice to add a clean, elegant look to your home’s exterior. Backed by a 5/50-year limited warranty, the engineered wood technology offers superior protection against the elements.
LP SmartSide Trim & Siding products are treated with the proprietary SmartGuard® process. With four components of protection, the process adds strength and helps our products withstand impacts, freeze/thaw cycles, high humidity, fungal decay and termites.
Testing shows that LP SmartSide strand products resist impact better than vinyl and fiber cement siding, which means they can stand up better against everything from everyday bumps to airborne storm debris. And because it doesn’t break as easily as fiber cement siding, LP SmartSide strand siding is also easier to handle and install, and results in less waste.
Steel Siding

Steel siding is its low maintenance. Compared to other choices, metal requires very little attention from a homeowner once it is installed by a professional Aqua Shield Roofing & Construction crew.
Harsh weather conditions have very little effect upon metal. Metal also does not absorb moisture or promote the growth of mold or fungus, both of which can destroy a home’s framing and can pose health hazards to the occupants.
The aesthetic qualities of steel siding have come a long way in recent years. Today’s steel siding comes in patterns and textures which mimic wood, and pre-painted metal can provide a homeowner with up to twenty years, or even more in some cases, of carefree living.
Another advantage of steel siding is its fire resistance. Metal-clad dwellings are almost impervious to fire. Such protection might also translate into lower monthly homeowner insurance premiums, so check with your insurance agent.
Insulated Steel Siding
We also provide the option of installing insulated steel siding. Insulation provides a higher R-value and improves the energy efficiency of your building or home.
Vinyl Siding

Vinyl siding has become increasingly popular among homeowners in recent years and is commonly used in new construction and offers several advantages. Vinyl siding comes in almost any color you can imagine, and it doesn’t have to be painted. A mild solution of soap and water is usually all that is needed to clean its surface.
Vinyl siding is desirable because the color is incorporated directly into the material. It is permanent and will last much longer than a painted surface. Vinyl is also less likely to show scratches since the color permeates through the entire material.
When considering using vinyl siding you should be aware of of its relative thickness. Thicker vinyl adds strength to your siding. If you are obtaining quotes from several contractors, a key difference in their quotes will be the quality of the siding they are using.
Insulated Vinyl Siding
Insulated vinyl siding is standard vinyl siding with a backing of solid rigid-foam insulation. The insulation makes the complete material stiffer and more resistant to warping and movement than conventional vinyl siding. The insulation also adds some R-value, or insulating quality, to the siding.
